Hi there, I'm gonna try an all fruit diet for a few weeks. I've been eating mostly fruit the past few weeks but I imagine it's gonna be hard to cut out cooked food completely.

That's a terrible idea, but I'm going to bite the bullet and ask why?

I am not a nutrionist but I think this is a very bad idea, what purpose is this for? Research?

either way, it'll prove one thing - a healthy balanced diet is the best way to lose weight - balance being the key word.

OP - despite the fact fruit is good for you, you can have too much of a good thing, and when it's only fruit it's going to seriously mess up your digestion - you'll lose a lot of muscle mass and you're joints and heart aren't going to like you because you won't be getting any dietary fat.

For a few weeks it won't be particularly damaging but this is not a good idea and won't lead anywhere.
Why are you doing this, why not focus on something you can do long term?

Aw OP! You remind me of me in the younger days when I knew nothing about nutrition. I mean, I still know next to nothing, but I know that can't be good!
There was a diet I was on that had all smoothies for one week, and since I didn't like smoothies or the veggies, I just ate fruit. I didn't last the whole week because I felt awful! I really did. So hungry, nauseous because of it, and I got very depressed. Just that one week this happened!
I really hope you think again, it's really no good for you at all :(
