I will be 44 years old this week. I started this weight loss journey when our son with Autism who is a ROTC student challenged my Ex Marine husband in physical fitness. Husband went on a diet and I decided to join him. That was April 17th. 4 weeks and 4 days ago.
SW 234
CW 223.6 (10.4 lbs in 32 days)
GW 180
I have a goal of 180, but set smaller goals. Just to reach 10 lbs and I did it! I can also do 3 miles on an incline on the treadmill easily. I have weighed between 230 and 235 for the last 20+ years. Small steps led to a huge one for me. Inches are melting away too!
Anyone else reaching goals they never thought they would hit?

Thank you. The continued goals keep me motivated to stick with it and keep moving! I expect it will start to slow, but the next thing to go is my Mtn. Dew 100%! ( I will probably struggle more with this than the weight loss the last few weeks)
Now to set my next short term goal!

Having short term goals is one of the best ways to stay motivated. I have lots, mostly fitness related.

    Congrats!
