Hip Replacement Surgery

Who has gotten one, what was your experience with recovery and getting to be able to work out again? How old were you? Which hip was it?

I am 54, and put weight on just because the progression of my hip finally getting to bone on bone just became tiring to do things.

Surgery is May 23rd, but I started my new program on Monday. Less weight should help in a faster recovery, in theory.....

    My father is 72 and he had his done last year. He was up and walking on it the next day. He has had a really good experience.
