I purchased a Polar FS1 heart rate monitor. I can't see how I can track my calories burned. Is there a way to convert heart rate to calories burned? Or do I need to return this thing??

i just googled it & it doesn't look like calorie tracking is a feature. look in the owners manual just in case! :o)

    It doesn't have that feature:

Polar FS1 heart rate monitor - standard features

    Wireless ECG accurate HR monitor

    Extra Large Digits
Target zones with audible and visual alarm

    Average HR for exercise session

Exercise Time (total) for exercise session

Polar FS1 heart rate monitor - watch features

    Heart rate (displayed as bpm)

    Water proof for swimming
    20m
    Date and weekday indicator

    Stop Watch

    Polar T31 waterproof transmitter

I picked up an FT7 off ebay for $80, you could probably get an FT4 for $60

Yeah, I didn't see it there either. They told me at my gym where I bought it that it did. I may just take it back!
