I'm a shop assistant and was wondering if I can factor in all the walking that i do around the shop, OE would it be a negligible amount? I work on my feet for 8 hours a day.

When you first register with MFP you are asked about your daily activity level: this will affect your daily calorie allowance. You should set it to a setting that best describes your day and this will update your calorie allowance accordingly. q2197706vjag.jpg

As ConicalFern mentioned set your activity level to Lightly Active and MFP will give you a daily calorie intake and burn goal based on that setting. You could get a step tracker such as Fitbit and sync it to MFP. If your daily steps would put your calorie burn above MFP then you would get a calorie adjustment.

I would set it at "active" and see if you lose. The MFP categories/guidelines aren't especially helpful. Check out other outlets' guidelines for activity and compare.
