During my time of losing weight I believe that the body's metabolism slows down when eating after 8pm,you do not burn as much calories at night than you do during the day!!!!

Your body does not know it's 8pm. You still burn calories while you sleep. Calories go in, calories go out over a period of time.4

You have been listening to myths. Your body has no idea what time it is. It wants food, It uses food. Its very simple, This is in your mind, Not reality.3

How about when the clocks go forward & backwards does your body know the day that happens and thinks it's got an extra hour or an hour less for your metabolism to slow down.7 -
