Hi there need advice , I read a book that say petite girls shouldn't do cardio as it makes U hungrier and fat and we should only do weights. Is this true ?

    No. Cardio is good for your heart, lungs, blood vessels, and mood, and can help create a deficit (you still have to watch your calories, it is easy to out-eat the burn, but that isn't just for us petite ladies). Do whatever cardio you enjoy.

    Of course, weights are also an important part of fitness, building strength, protecting against osteoporosis, etc. But again, there are many ways to achieve that.

    Find exercise you enjoy. Do it. :mrgreen:

    I read that book too I think. The Petite Advantage or something. It was a lot of myth, about trying to speed up your metabolism and stuff. Can cardio make you hungry? Sure, but you should be eatif at least a part of your exercise calories if you're following MFP so that isnt bad. Just don't go overboard.

    I love cardio and it will only make you fat if you binge eat afterwards. The same can be said of any exercise
