A whole bunch of Fitbit questions!

Hi everyone! I recently got the Fitbit Flex and love it! However I have a couple questions...
1. On the app, where does it say my TDEE? (The calories I maintain on)
2. What's the difference between the Alta, Charge, and Flex? Which one would you recommend?
3. When I do non-walking exercise such as the elliptical, how do I track that?

Thanks!

    1) Calories Burned would be your TDEE. However, it will only show you the calories as you burn them and won't finish calculating the number till midnight. Example: Yesterday, my estimated TDEE was 2376. Today I've burned 878 calories, but it's only noon. I will continue to get 13 calories every 15 mins of inactivity (Fitbit breaks your bmr into 15 min segments and adds the calories for it slowly throughout the day to your burn). If I'm doing stuff then I will get 13 + activity calories. I guess the simple way to put it is that Fitbit shows you your calories burned as you burn them.
On the Fitbit profile page (website..not app) you will also have a 30 day average burn and 30 day average intake.

    3) Just make a note of the time you started and the duration. Then you can go into the app, click the exercise tab, tap the stop watch in the top right hand corner and select Log. Type in elliptical or whatever, enter the start time/duration and click Log it.

Look at one with a HR monitor to help more accurately track your calories.
