Issue Syncing with Fitbit

If I input an exercise in MFP it shows up on my fitbit app, but if an exercise originates from the fitbit (which is most often since it automatically recognizes them) then it doesn't sync back to MFP.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
(If I input the exercise on MFP it syncs back to fitbit so fitbit counts it twice...)

I've noticed that today it doesn't seem to be working. Usually it does. It synced a bit after I got up this morning but hasn't updated since then and is saying I only got 26 steps today. There are issues every once in a while - it should be fixed in a day or so. I saw someone else saying they were having issues too.0

If you enter your exercise *with the time you started the workout* Fitbit will recognize that it was the same thing it auto-recorded, and will not credit you double calories for it.
Edited to ask: Does your Fitbit adjustment not increase when your workout originates from the Fitbit? Not necessarily by the total calories Fitbit says you burned during the workout, (sometimes some of those calories are already accounted for by your activity setting) but by a reasonable number to assume that MFP and Fitbit did communicate and credit you for the workout?0
