    I'm in my second week. been vegetarian since I was 11. also was vegan for 2 years whilst feeding my dairy / egg and many other things allergic daughter. just started reintroducing egg and dairy. don't have any friends yet- bit shy! would be great to have some mutual support going. please feel free to be add me . anyone!

    She has to make her own decision and her own research.
    She may be getting enough b-12 and d3 in her diet.
    She may not need one.
    And I expect the links to vitamins and cancer. I've read them all.

    If someone isn't getting enough B12 or D in their diet, taking those supplements is going to be much better than taking a multi-vitamin. There's no evidence that multi-vitamins improve health and it's kind of offensive how you consistently give this advice to people who indicate they are vegetarian or vegan.
