It's 12pm. You're sitting at your desk.. And you've eaten all your lunch and snacks until dinner.
I'm going to have to pretend water is a milkshake

...or you could use your next break (assuming you have one) to get a healthy snack mid-afternoon when you're hungry so that you're not ravenous tonight and setting yourself up for a binge or overeating at dinner.1

Add a walk and add some leeway to your snacking. Add protein powder to a lo cal drink. Add chia seeds to your water with a juice ice cube. Handful of nuts.0

Suppose we can't be light-hearted around here lol
I'll be alright, saving some extra calories for a dinner out tonight3 -

The walk is a good idea! I'll do some laps around the office. I want to love nuts (to cut down on sugar in snacks) but I haven't loved them yet. I'll try almonds once more.1 -
Ha ha! Lauren, I love it. I'll have that "milkshake" with ya. Heck, make mine a double scoop! Lol.2

I do all different kinds of tree nuts- cashews, pecans and hazelnuts. Also, add flax seed to your diet- it expands similar to chia seeds+Good omega 3s for combatting afternoon fog. I try to avoid peanuts but will do it in a pinch (honey roasted are a weakness). Sunflower kernels are great, too.
Add tea to your schedule, too. It's a great ritual to get you away from the desk + yerba mate or green tea help with your metabolism.0 -

Don't do the nuts if you are low or out of calories. Do the walk around the office and do the water. It will help for 5 minutes! LOL
On the lighter side, is there popcorn in the office? You can get some volume of food for a few additional calories. Perhaps go for a walk when you get home. There's always room for the snack.0 -

I wish I was bold enough to microwave popcorn in the office haha. But you are correct about not nutting for today (; if anything I'll go get a piece of dark chocolate. Anything's better than opening this big bag of pretzels next to me. I can't believe a couple weeks ago my "snack" was just fitting in 400 cals of pretzels -___-0 -
