Best workout

If someone was to ask you "where do i begin?" What would you say. Weights? Cardio? Who and what inspires your love to workout? What keeps you motivated? What supplements (if any) do you recommend? What has given you the best results?

The best workout is the one you enjoy, which is going to be very different from person to person. The mindset that exercise isn't doing any good unless you're suffering is a steaming pile of bullsh1t.

For the vast majority of people, supplements are a waste of money.

The best workout for a beginner is one they have fun doing. Beyond that I would also encourage people to do some form of resistance training. I also encourage people to not use supplements. Most are a waste of money.

Many supplements are a waste, but there are some that are beneficial.

There are some. I wouldn't suggest them to beginners because I feel it's more important for them to focus on the bigger picture. Suggesting something like creatine to a beginner isn't necessarily appropriate anyway based on the first part of my response.

One that you can keep doing. You might like it now, but you also gotta stick to it for months. For me, anything with deadlifting, squats and bench press.

I'd have them start with http://www.strongfirst.com/kettlebell-simple-and-sinister/
Strength is a skill you can train. Its not just lifting something heavy for however many reps any way you can. Technique is all important and there is always something I can improve on. I like to make progress consistently and technique coupled with good programs gets me there. I keep logs of my training sessions and I compete against myself.

Aren't whey protein, multivitamins, aminos good supplements?

Whey isn't necessary if someone can hit their protein goal without it.
Multivitamins are generally only necessary if someone if deficient.
Aminos have only proven to be helpful in studies that lowered protein to very low levels. They have not been shown to have a significant effect in studies where people had adequate protein intake.
