Too much protein

I always eat more protein than my plan allows. Protein is a good thing, how does this affect my daily intake? It's clear to me if I were exceeding my calorie, salt, fat, carbohydrates what the affect would be but I'm unsure of how protein affects my plan. Thank you.

It's all about how many calories you take in daily.
You could eat twinkies all day for weeks and lose weight.
.... all about the calories... protein has calories.1 -
Not really at all unless you are going over total calories.
Personally, I treat protein and fat goals as a minimum, eat up to those and fill the remainder with carbs. Although I'm on a high protein diet by choice, though so your mileage may vary.
