last week with my charge it seemed pretty ok 13,000 steps burning about 900-1000 calories i walk in the warehouse i work for like 30min to an hour daily when possible and then over the weekend i got a reading of 4,000 steps and burned 1,000 calories i knew that was a red flag. so i decided to switch back to my blaze disconnected the charge from my fit bit account and now in getting readings from 10,000-13,000 steps is showing calories burned at about 1,500-1,800 that seems a bit excessive if anyone could help it was be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Closed diary. What does the (i) pop up on the calorie adjustment say. Are all time zones the same.0

There have been a lot of posts lately of people posting the same issue. Could be a bug. Mine hasn't given me any issues though....yet...lol

You have to remember that the Blaze reads Heart Rates so you could be moving faster at times while not necessarily moving more - getting less steps. I want to tell myself that the Blaze calorie burn is off because my calorie burn is less than what it was with my Charge HR but after further investigation (going over my exercise log) I just don't workout as hard.
Maybe try logging some walks and see how that reads your calorie burns.

Go check and make sure your info is correct. Height, weight, etc. I had a similar thing happen when somehow my birthday got changed to 70 years earlier.0

Are you talking the calories Fitbit shares with MFP, or are you looking at the numbers on your Fitbit. If the latter, that's your total burn for the day, not how much you burned from just walking around for 30 minutes.
Edit: clarity0 -

And if you are looking at the number in mfp, that's the adjust from mfp to Fitbit calorie burns. So if you are set to sedentary in mfp but are active, you will see large numbers in mfp.2 -
can i change this in fitbit as well?
i work in logistics so i am majority of my day is sitting so outta my 8hr shift i am maybe on my feet moving about 3 or 4 hrs outta that but i have my mfp set at sedentary.
and i take my occasional 30min-1hr walks in the warehouse but weekends really no activity0 -
Are you refering to the calories burned on your Fitbit? That's not the "burn" for the 4000 steps walked, it's your TDEE (calories burned for just being alive + activity).1
