Hi! I have a fitbit zip and I am wondering if I still record my exercise in MFP or not. I have seen differing opinions. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Personal choice. I definitely wouldn't log any step based exercise. Personally I just let fitbit do its thing because adding in a bunch of extra calories on top of my fitbit adjustment to eat back didn't work for me.

Thank you. I don't eat back calories burned so I have been just letting the fitbit so its things.

I use my Fitbit to figure out how far and fast I'm walking when I am doing my walking for exercise. I don't count the random steps I take during the day (like to the restroom, or walking to/from my car). I usually make a note of what my distance is showing before I start my walk and then make a note of it after. I also note the time I started and the time I finished. Using that, I can figure out how many minutes I walked and how fast.
