I do 2 workout DVDs 6 days a week. Each one is about 35-40 minutes each. I'm starting to add some weights about 10 minutes every other day for upper body strength. So about 80-90 minutes 6 days a week.

Usually, 1 to 1-1/2 hours. Yesterday was squat day - it was 75 minutes. Today was bench day - 85.

That's the time from when I do my mobility exercises to getting done stretching after.

Ummmm, I need to amp up my workouts. I knew I wasn't doing enough lately, but after reading all the responses, I know it!

You people are rock stars!! I usually do about 20-30 min cardio and 20-30 min lifting. Back in my fit days I worked out 5 days a week. Now it's only 3 or 4 days.

Depending on your goal(s), 30 minutes may be fine.

very very true. a body builder and a iron man triathlete will train very very differently. it's all about your goals and what you want to accomplish.

I'm changing my routine. 30-45 minutes of cardio first thing in the morning, and then after work I do about an hour to an hour-and-a-half of strength training. Weekends I do two hour sessions of a combination of the two. I'm extremely lazy, so I have to push myself, haha.

Oh, and I don't do them every day! Four to five days a week.

I usually walk 30-60 minutes and do a 10-45 minute workout video.

Zumba 5 times per week - around 65 minutes per session

    Lifting 3 times per week - 10-15 minute warm-up - 50-60 minutes of lifting

Also fence twice a week (1 hour each)

I try to spread the workouts out so I'm not doing all 3 in one day but sometimes that happens. I also try to get a complete rest day from everything once a week (but that doesn't always happen).

I experienced a 6-8 month plateau & decided to hire an online fitness coach. I was told to burn 3,500 calories per wk. I was KILLING myself on lift days. I'd have to spend upwards of 3hrs a day working out. It was excessive but I lost 23lbs in 12 weeks. Now I work out an hour a day, 5 days a week.

Never really time my workouts beyond the cardio aspect. I go into the gym with a plan, execute said plan, and that's that. If it takes 30 minutes, cool. Hour and a half? That's cool too, as long as I hit the lifts I have programmed.

I work out 60-90 hours a day seven days a week. My "rest days" include me resting from a specific exercise I did the previous day... Kickboxing, Bootcamp, advanced step, strength training... Used to do two hours a day several days a week and one hour on the other days.. Going back to that next week to shake things up a bit (increase my deficit). Have 6-10 pds left to reach my "vanity weight".

Anywhere from 25 mins (walking or stretching/bodystrength work) to 45 - 100 mins (running).
Or anything inbetween really if I'm doing something different like cycling.
I routinely run 3 days a week then add someone else in on most other days.

I get up at 4:30 every work day morning and generally do between 1hr 30 and 1hr45 min workouts total. Then at the weekend on one day I do a 2 hour legs session. Yes its a lot, but I love it! ;D

    Weights typically one hour.
Gym cardio (mostly cycling related) typically one hour but will do some longer sessions in winter.
Outdoor cycling varies enormously from one hour, quite a few three hour rides but events can be six to seven hours with one exceptional event 10 hours duration, nine hours riding.

I do some exercise most days, commonly alternating weights and cardio.

    For running, 6min - 5hr+ depending on distance (1mi - 31+mi). For lifting, usually 40-120min. 4-5x/wk.
