Hello!
I'm trying hard to lose weight and wondered how many calories daily I should set my fitness pal to?

    It sets the calories for you when you put your goals in. Start at sedentary and 0.5 lbs a week unless you have a lot to lose.

    Yeah it sorts it for you.. I put my height weight and goals in and how much I want to lose! It put me on 1300 calories :smile:

    That's dependent on your age, height, weight, activity level, and how much you choose to lose per week. When you enter this into MFP, it will tell you how much.

    Depends on how much u burn a day u at the least need 1000 cals it mfp won't close u out but it's healthy to at least have 1200 net a day but if u eat 1200 and burn 300 ur net is really 900 so u need to up ur cals by 300 to make ur net 1200. At least that's what I've been told by my coach.
