I'm 215 lbs and ive lost 8lbs in like 5 days... Is this is because I'm bigger? Everything online stats you should only lose 2.5lbs per week, but does this count if your big?
Thanks
Thanks

its fairly common for people to lose large amounts in the first week or so. This is commonly due to shedding excess water weight and should normalize. Typically after this initial period you want to be losing between 1-2 lbs/weeks on average for sustainable weight loss. You may be able to lose more at the beginning if you have a lot of weight to lose that is going to be hard to maintain and is often a recipe for mental fatigue and weight regain.1

Sounds about right. I dropped about 8 lbs my first week as well. I'm into my fourth week and down 21lbs. This last week has been about a 1.5 lb drop. I think I'm leveling out now. Keep up the good work!1 -
Pace yourself. I just set MFP with my goals and it suggests how many calories you should eat to meet your goals.0
