at some point i just got tired of making excuses to skip working out or eat healthier u reach a certain point where u find that noone is going to do this for you, you have to get up and get things done urself. the biggest motivation u can get is if u diet for a week orso and u weigh urself and see ur actuelly losing those weights then u continue next week and the week after etc. after that ull notice ur starting to look slimmer u go down clothing sizes, u start bien able to wear clothes u want etc all those things add up to ur own motivation.
also reminding urself each and everyday that getting leaner/bien healthy is ur goal and that ur not happy with how things are right now also helps.
ur worth putting the effort on bien the best u can be and also looking the part
btw: sorry if i have typos english isnt my primary language2 -

A friend pointed out that motivation and willpower inevitably come and go for most people. Discipline is what we can choose to rely on instead. So I gave up on motivation. I'm extremely happy when I have it, and I try to keep my motivation up by asking myself one question whenever I'm debating between a healthy choice and an unhealthy choice- "what do you want more? 5 minutes of enjoying food followed by guilt, or a lifetime of feeling good because I'm accomplishing a goal and improving my life?"
But whether the motivation is there or not, I finally started using discipline. I allow myself a sweet treat every night but I stop at that- I do not think "gee, I really want more. What should I do?" I simply say "nope, you had your treat, you're done." If I decide to go to the gym, I go. I don't think "but I don't want to." If I make it a choice, my brain will convince me not to go. So I treat it like going to work- whether I like it or not, I go because I want the payoff at the end. Part of this does mean setting realistic expectations with myself. Just starting off, I know I will want to work out every single day but the motivation to do that will wear off. So instead I committed myself to 3 days a week. If I do more, great. But I only promised myself 3 days a week. That way, it's reasonable to demand myself to follow through- I'm not asking THAT much of myself. Same with eating junky foods- I might allow some so that this whole process isn't miserable (for me personally, banning certain foods is miserable) but I demand of myself that I stay under my calorie goals at least 6 days a week, and I only allow myself one true cheat meal per week. I will eventually demand more of myself but starting off like this (giving myself some leniency but putting strict limits on that leniency) has been working- for the first time I'm not frustrated and ready to give up after a couple weeks!
IF I screw up and make bad decisions, I forgive myself and move on. I accepted when I started this time around that I would mess up sometimes, and that sometimes I would gain even if I had a great week. Accepting these things as facts has made it easier for me to not get hung up on every little imperfection, and to focus on the overall goals and overall improvement...improvement, not perfection.2
