I'm not really sure where to post this. I came to the realization today that I have messed with my body for so long I really have no idea what it feels like to be hungry. Now that I am trying my hardest to eat healthy and normal, I eat because the clock says it is time to, or because my hubby is ready for dinner, or because I still need to eat xxxx amount of calories. Any suggestions?

You really shouldn't let you body get hungry actually, you should be eating every 2-3 hours maybe 4 depending on the person than you shouldn't be hungry, and of course these meals should be small! I usually eat 3 solid meals and 2 snacks depending on my schedule. This will speed up your metabolism and make sure to start with a good substantial breakfast! Hope that helps, good luck! And shoot tell your husband it's not time for dinner! haha

I know exactly what you mean. I know that is totally true about me. But, the best thing to do if you are not certain you can sense true hunger anymore is to drink 8 oz. of water before you head for food. If you still feel unsatisfied after that, try a light snack or meal, then more water. I hope this helps. Good luck on your journey.
