    Hi Rizzogogo!! I need to lose 36 pounds by end of summer. I can use all the help i can get, too! My problem...junk food! I'm lazy & talk myself out of exercising. Junk food pulls me in all the time, then i get depressed and stop working out...then i jump back on the wagon, lose a few pounds and think i can eat whatever i want and there the vicious circle goes...
    How about you? What keeps you from reaching your goals?

    I'm about the same age but have a ton more to lose. I'm happy losing as much as I can by the end of the summer. I just need to learn healthy habits

    I want to be 140 by the end of summer, I'm currently 178.6. Any new friends with the same goals would be incredible!

    That's less than 14 weeks. Here's a reality check (sorry):

    Pound per week goals
    75+ lbs set to lose 2 lb range
    Between 40 - 75 lbs set to lose 1.5 lb range
    Between 25-40 lbs set to lose 1 lb range
    Between 15-25 lbs set to lose 1 -.50 lb range
    Less than 15 lbs set to lose 0.5 lbs range

    Aiming to lose weight is a good thing......aiming to lose xx pounds in xx days can be problematic. ALL weight lost by the end of summer is a good thing. Don't beat yourself up for not reaching an unrealistic goal.
