Have a sweet tooth?? This is what I do!

Drink coffee! I am a sweet tooth freak, especially if its that time of the month, or after I eat a great meal. I make myself a great cup of coffee(absolutely adore my Keureg)! I buy the donut shop flavors, coconut mocha, chocolate glazed donut, Cinnamon roll, etc and I add skim milk and some sweetener and viola! My sweet tooth is gone! You can also use low-fat creamer that's flavored, just make sure you measure the amount if you are counting calories.
Not a coffee drinker? Make hot tea(green tea)! This also satisfies my sweet tooth! Add a little honey and or lemon to your tea, if you don't like honey like myself, you can also add a low fat creamer to your tea!
The coffee that you brew at home typically has zero calories, its what you add to it that can add up. But with proper measurements and low fat milk or creamer you won't feel guilty and your sweet tooth will disappear.
Good luck everyone!!

I have a sweet tooth and what I do is work a sweet treat per day into my calorie goals. I am more for moderation than substitution because substituting foods is what led to many binges.
I do love coffee, though, but I moderate that as well.1 -
Yes, I agree! Everything should be eaten in moderation. I have found that the fiber one bars also help my sweet tooth cravings. They are also a great snack in between meals. I typically eat them once in a while since they do tend to give me gas.1

Yep, if I want something sweet after lunch I can satisfy this with tea with a teaspoon of sugar. After dinner I do have 70 calories worth of chocolate.2

Same here. Plus I don't like coffee OR tea.0 -
I have been loving Lara Bars, the Chocolate chip cookie dough is awesome! I also love dates stuffed with a little peanut butter and a chocolate drizzle, they're called vegan snickers and they're amazing!0

I used to always want something sweet after every meal (except breakfast as that's already sweet) and couldn't just limit myself to a small amount, so like you I have a coffee or tea. Works perfectly now for me and after a few weeks of this my sweet craving after meals has gone.0
