I'm leaving early tomorrow morning with my sister to go visit our grandma in Ohio. We'll be back Monday night and Tuesday I honestly will probably just pass out! Bf has to work so I might go to a fireworks show with somebody but probably not.

Watching my 14 year old play softball.
  • Bicycling or sailing over the weekend, and then for the 4th, we're all getting our sailboats out onto Lake Union, rafting them up together, and watching half a million in fireworks go up. I'll be pretty sick. I think single malt scotch will be the drink of choice. Less carbs than beer.

I think I'm going to hit up The Taste of Chicago and challenge myself to eat healthy while I'm there *wish me luck*. I might also take a trip up to Wisconsin Dells and hit a waterpark or two. I hope you all enjoy yourself.

Flying to MT to bring my 85 Mom back home to VT for the summer. Lots of driving & talking & worrying about eating right on the trip. If any drinking to be done - the beverage of choice will be "anything with alcohol" (at the end of the driving day - LOL)...... Hope everyone has a happy & safe 4th of July!

Annual block party... ~400 people gathered on our block every year! (This, in a town of 2,500 - LOL)

Drink(s) of choice: Bud55 (Not my favorite beer, but I can drink them all day and not be tossed. Plus - honestly, I'll end up drinking 6-10 of them throughout the day, and 300-500 calories in beer is way better than 800-1100), maybe Skinny Girl Margaritas (mixed 1/2 with club soda, over ice), and WATER!
  • A lot of swimming in our pool with our kids and just having great "family time"! Everyone have a safe holiday weekend! I am looking forward to a 3-day break from work! :glasses:

Saturday: Headed to the Greyhound kennel near Kenosha WI to walk dogs in the morning, then probably going for a motorcycle ride the rest of the day.

Sunday: Church in Baraboo for my nephew's baptism (DH and I are gonna be Godparents! WOW!) and then family picnic type stuff.

    Monday: Who knows?

Leading a boot-camp workout, entering a "carry your wife" race (my buff husband better be able to carry me- cause I plan on winning!), watching the 82nd Airborne jump, and watching fireworks at Fort Bragg.
