Does flavoured water which contains no calories and aspartame make you gain weight?

No, eating more calories than burning makes you gain weight, so how can something with no calories do this

It's very unlikely. It certainly wouldn't make you gain fat.

As with anything you eat, it might make you retain water. Or you might be sensitive to it, so it causes you inflammation. Or it might cause you migraines. Or you'll be fine. Won't know unless you try it. If it's all you drink.... maybe consider moderation in all things. But a couple per day? Meh. Other things will kill you first.

Sometimes I flavor my water with tea. I like cold water, so cold-brew tea is great. I drop a bag in the water, and five minutes later it's dark and rich and ready to drink. No calories, no sweeteners, delicious.

what a fantastic idea! I'd never thought of that, sounds like it'll make boring water a bit more fun.

I like to drink LaCroix flavoured sparkling water when I'm bored of plain water. 0 calories, free of artificial sweeteners and comes in a variety of flavours. I like Peach-Pear the best!

I do the same with raspberry/cranberry tea. Except I use boiling water and wait for it to cool. I've never seen cold water tea here.
