I signed up yesterday only to find out I had this same great idea two years ago but never did anything with it! The weight I registered then was 13lbs lower than I am now however I was 20 lbs lighter just a few months ago...

I spent 2014 fighting cancer and throughout I kept wanting to change my diet and lifestyle. Well there's a reason doctors tell you not to while undergoing treatment and that is you NEED those comfort foods when you can get them (and keep it down) I was lucky to breeze through it all quite easily, I wasn't sick and worked the entire time. Except I'm finding it's all hitting me NOW. Boy I'm tired!!! And boy I'm sick!!
Exercise?!? I got out of bed AND got dressed, what more do you want?!

Well pack on 20lbs and then realize something has got to change!!!

So here I am!
Let's do this!!

You really are a champion! Stay motivated by not making "impossible" goals. Make small goals and put them in 5-10 pounds  or so many steps or whatever. You will feel good each time you hit a goal, and that will keep you motivated. Find a good group here, or start a group. There are quite a number of people here who have battled or are battling cancer. Find them and create a group! if you like. Whatever you do, Welcome and good luck on your journey to better health

You'll smash this! You have the right attitude and seem motivated!! (And I found i signed up a few years ago and did nothing either... and I'm rounder, older and heavier than before!)

    Good luck on your journey!

    xx

A year later... I did not stay motivated at all. I packed on another 20lbs :( But that's ok. I have so much more motivation now. I have friends and coaches and I'm ready to do this more than ever. One step at a time... ;)
