When you first start, since you are starting with just the bar on the squats and bench press, how do you warm up?

Legs perhaps stationary bike or brisk walk.
Chest/shoulders/back swing a 2.5lb weight in circles. Foam roll with the motions you're utilizing that day.0 -
When I started last week I warmed up by doing a few sets of body weight squats followed by some goblet squats with a 20 lb dumbell. I felt good when I started with the bar.0

you could always do some warmup reps with fixed weight bars of a lower weight.1
