pacer pedometer

hi i have a pacer pedometer and it keeps pausing when i walk so if i delete the pacer pedometer and use a pedometer that you can hook on you pants or belt is there still a way that i can put the mins in for the exercise it is a fot and healthy calorie pedometer

thanks i bought a pedometer that you can clip to yuour pants or belt and i am going to use a stopwatch that is on my phone would that be ok because my pacer pedometer is'nt working it keeps pausing on me so i figured i would use my pedometer for the calories even though you can use for miles and kilometers but i would use it for calories and use my stopwatch on my phone to time my mins and i amm thinking of uninstalling my pacer pedometer0

I just use an old fashioned pedometer for my distance, time myself with my watch, then plug info into the link I posted.
I use it to pace myself for 10km races, walking.

thanks i think i will just use my fit and healthy pedometer and my stopwatch on my phone this way i know myself how many calories and use my stopwatch to time my mins walking0
