I'm looking for some fitness friends....

I have been away for a bit and want to start this thing over and do it correctly. I feel the best way is to not try to do this by myself but instead have some friends i can talk to on here that have either been through it or are going through it. I just recently found out my father has stage 4 lung cancer that had spread to his liver. He has refused treatment. We lost my mom 3 years ago and he has really done rough with that as can be expected. It has me realizing that even though I'm not a smoker, tobacco user, etc my weight is just as dangerous. I'm throwing myself out here asking for your support. If i can aide anyone, ill be glad to. Feel free to send me a friend request. I used to think i could do it alone, that's just not the case. I'm 37 years old, 6'1, male and weigh in at 265... my goal would be to get to 220 or so. Thanks everyone.
