Not eating enough calories!

I'm not eating enough calories and am finding it really hard to, I used to be able to eat so much and in result need to loss weight! Since starting my journey I'm now finding it really hard to eat enough! I find it hard to even make it to 1000 calories, I'm so worried this is bad for my body and that as soon as I am able to eat more my body will store it all as fat. Has anyone experienced this and should I be worried?

The easiest way to add more calories is to eat the full fat versions of things you already eat. Full fat dairy, dark meat instead of chicken breast, higher calorie salad dressing, more butter on your toast, real mayo. That kind of thing.
If I was you, yes, I'd worry. Please eat more.2 -
I see these posts all the time and don't understand how anyone can't eat 1000 calories when obviously it takes eating above maintenance calories consistently to put on weight in the first place...
What has changed that you can't seem to eat enough?
It is unhealthy for your body eating less than 1200 calories. If you have a lot of weight to lose then you should even be eating more than that.
Eat calorie dense foods to get to your minimum calorie amount. Choose full fat options every time and plenty of protein/fibre.1 -
Adding in a snack or two throughout the day could help with that. Something like a granola or chocolate bar, even just increasing your portion sizes "slightly" of the food you're already eating. Also make sure you're logging/weighing accurately.2

Hey guys tried to eat a meal with more carbs for dinner tonight and hit 1100 just focusing on adding more good carbs and healthy calorie dense foods. I think my body was getting to use to small meals and working in hospitality I've been trying not o eat the food at my work because it's unhealthy, I think this effected my hunger not eating on long shifts, must have shrunk my stomach. I'm going to start packing snacks for work and trying to eat more small meals and aim for at least 1200 calories a day! Thanks for the advice2

don't think of food as "unhealthy" or "bad" or "junk".
eat calorie dense foods like full fat cheese, avocados, beer and pizza.3
