I have to say, I'm troubled by this recipe being on this site where we are trying to lose weight and be fit. This screams weight gain, and unhealthy ingredients. Just sayin?!

I'm fairly certain the original poster is NOT advocating running out to eat this...I took it as sarcasm, or like one of those posts that is "what is the worst thing you have ever eaten"? Call me crazy, but I think any somewhat intelligent person is going to a) know this isn't healthy, b) isn't offended by a recipe that doesn't appeal to them and c) didn't click on this post expecting to see anything healthy with Twinkee in the title.

    Sheesh....

OK, someone had to do this....

    8 individual Twinkies = 1200 calories
    3/4 cup(s) Nutella = 1200 calories
    6 Oreo cookies = 320 calories
    1/2 cup(s) mini marshmallows = 80 calories
    1/4 cup(s) chocolate toffee pieces = 320 calories

    Grand total = 3120 cal.

    I'd still do it

A good 3 hrs at the gym along with my regular calorie allotment and I'd be fine as wine....

Bah ahhaah, I like how you think!

I make this twinkie thing every Christmas and it wins tons of love from my family and friends. I refuse to tell them what's in it, but I'm getting ready to let you know the secret. It's so painfully easy, it should be illegal.

Buy one box of twinkies, unwrap, slice them in half lengthwise and line the bottom of a cake pan, creme side up. Make Jello choc pudding according to package directions after it sets, fold in 1/2 tub of extra creamy cool whip. Spread over twinkies. Put remaining cool whip over pudding. Decorate with whatever.

That's it. Done. Takes me less than 10 minutes to contribute everyones 'FAVORITE' cake at holdiay time. Of course, I act like it's hard and make em wait till Christmas. :D

just looking at it makes me want to hurl, but then I'm the freak who thinks that s'mores are disgusting!
btw 320 calories for 1 serving provided you had 1/8 of it.

On the other other hand I make an evil dark chocolate flourless torte w/ganache, I have no idea of the calories on THAT one!

No matter the calories it looks tastey. Two hours of cardio to enjoy this delight, definitely looks worth it. So when I fix this who's coming to share it!!!

I'm sure it wouldn't look this pretty by the time you were finished making it. That nutella would melt off into a huge mess! Sounds tasty, though!

If it was topped with crushed French Roast espresso beans it would be even better.

HST, I would rather spend frivolous calories on a nice Cabernet.

This thread reminds me of Biggest Loser when they put out that spread of calorific foods that ultimately give you that "OMG what kind of freak am I for being drawn to these over the top unhealthy crap foods" feeling. If you don't get that feeling you havent figured out yet how badly you need to fix your problem.

If you could limit yourself to one serving -- 320 calories is not a horrible splurge. Trust me, I've done worse!

Most days, I could probably walk away from this. But today it looks SO good! I know that I have retrained my pallet to appreciate healthy foods and reject the junk, but there are some days when you just gotta have the real thing. It's a good thing that I do not have Twinkies or Nutella in the house!

I do have a couple or Reeses Peanut Butter Eggs int he pantry (yes, they are still there from Easter!) They may not make it through the night, though!
