Ramadan - How to do your best

Hello,
So Ramadan starts next week! (Yay!) I wanted to ask those who fast, how they are able to maintain weight/at least not destroy the progress they've made. I do cook at home, but advice on what types of foods help your body maintain energy and what types of workouts you do would be nice! My little brother suggested morning training...but I really dislike training early because it exhausts me for work.
Any advice apprciated!
Thanks, Yas

Will it work to exercise late in the day just before you eat/break your fast?

An old member wrote this excellent guide a few years ago, I saw it bumped the other day. The original post and the discussion after it seemed to hold some great advice.

@RodaRose, I will try that! I can see the perk, because I can eat and re-fuel right after. Also, @Alatariel75, thank you for the guide!!1
