Wearing a bikini for the first time in my life, nsv

Hey guys! I just wanted to share with you a HUGE nsv I've recently experienced. I have lost almost 75 pounds, and last week, I bought my first bikini ever. And the best part? I LOVE it! My entire life I have been overweight or obese, and while I still have about 45 pounds to lose, I am thrilled and so proud to have the confidence to wear this bikini this summer.
Here's a before picture, the bandages are from gallbladder surgery. My weight here was 302 pounds.
And here is a picture of my bikini. My current weight is 227.4. I am 5'11".

You look great! I am wearing a bikini today too. For years I didn't wear one until I realized that life is too short not to feel the sun on your belly3

Adorable suit and tats! Work it, girl2

I wouldn't have guessed 302 in the before pic and your stomach is so flat to still be over 200!! You rock!1

I actually had a tummy tuck after losing the first 50 pounds because I had a big apron of skin hanging down. That's one of the reasons it's so flat lol2 -

How was it?
Expensive? Recovery time?
Last time I lost weight (80 lbs) had a grotesque amount of skin left and thought about treating myself to that type of surgery.1 -

Yes it was expensive and insurance usually will not cover it. I was able to start light exercise after 6 weeks of down time. I got an infection and that may have slowed my recovery time. It was all totally worth it though. I love my new tummy!1 -
Congrats, you look amazing.1

Cute suit and you look amazing in it.1

Get it, girl!! You look amazing. I'm 5'11" as well and know how much it sucks to try to find a one-piece swimsuit that doesn't give you a massive wedgie, so it must be a relief to be able to rock that bikini!1
-
nice job! You look awesome! Enjoy your bikini! I also got a tummy tuck after I lost 50 or so lbs...best money I ever spent and wish I had done it 10 years earlier! BUT...it is a hard recovery and painful surgery!1

Yes lol. One piece suits were NOT made for tall girls haha0 -

Amen. Camel toes are not a good summer look. And tankinis always ride up. All of which points to the fact bikinis are the best option!1 -
