What do you prefer for breakfast high carb or high protein.

Can you explain why and share your breakfast.

Thanks

I don't often eat breakfasts but when I do it's high protein and fat, low carb - typically eggs with bacon.

Why - because I like it.

Both, but I don't often eat breakfast as I cannot eat eggs.

My first meal of the day, regardless of what time that is, has both. Carbs are the vehicle that the body uses to transport protein into the muscle. While you don't necessarily need carbs at every meal, you need a good balance of all the things. I like just about anything for my first meal of the day and any meal, maybe a taco or burrito or a bowl of soup or a salad. Yum!

    You didn't mention Fat?

Extremely Low Carbs. Medium Protein. High Fat. All day long.

I eat as little carbs as possible at every meal. High Fat and Medium Protein keeps me alert and full of energy at all times so I can keep moving all day long and not get tired.

My breakfast is typically Eggs, Bacon, lots of Spinach, or Avocado, with lashings of Butter or Coconut Oil.

    Both. All things in moderation.

This morning was 4 hard boiled eggs and a bowl of strawberries...
