Texmati Rice, Dried Cherries, carrots and celery
1/4 CUP ROYAL BLEND Texmati rice ( brown&wild rice with soft wheat & rye berries) makes about 3/4 cup of steam rice- 160 cal, 1.5 g fat, carbs34g, Fiber 2g, Sugar 3g Protein 5 g
1/4 cup dried cherries chopped 140 cal. 135mg Potassium, 32g carbs, 1g fiber, 28g sugar
1/4 cup chopped carrots
1/4 cup chopped celery
1 tbs butter
Salt and pepper to tatste
Steam rice until tender. Chop and saute cherries, carrots, celery in the butter. Add rice when tender and drained. Season mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm. Makes 2 servings.
