Spaghetti and Carbs/Starch content

Does washing spaghetti by lukewarm water after boiling reduce starch content? I mean...will it give me less calories?

    thought if there are any researches regard8ng the same done...as there is a study done on potatoes and it.says that yes...washing potatoes after boiling does remove some of the starch there ☺

    Well, yes, it removes some. That's why the noodles are less sticky after being rinsed.

    That said, it's probably fairly small and I wouldn't adjust any calories because of it.
