I used to lift, now I am starting bodyweight training and I have some questions?

I started lifting when I was 15, now I am 18 and I am really bored of this, plus I found out that it had not made my body very functional. I get tired quickly, I am not very flexible and I am not fast at all. I just have a big butt. But that doesn't make me feel very good, it is just not enough. I have lately attended some pilates and yoga classes and even some interval cardio class. I am enthusiastic about the first two, terrified about the last one . I was wandering, how long for me to get better at those and stop looking bulked up with air as it came to show? What are some good tips?

What are your stats? Have you got a picture of how 'bulked up' you are?

If you're fairly lean, and just out of cardiovascular shape, it doesn't take to long to get your wind. It will depend on how often your doing it as well though. Once a week will take a lot longer than 3-4 times a week.

Wish I had lifted at 15. Got 45 on you. I lift, walk and stretch daily. That and counting calories got me to my goal. Getting faster will happen if you drop weight and do some speed training. Being quick is just as important, there are drills for that. I hear that pilates and yoga good for you.

I wouldn't want to post a picture of myself but well, I look kind of buffy, not necessarily fat, but definitely not slim. But I do not look like a gym rat either! McCloud, I wouldn't call me fairly lean, I think i carry like a little bit more fat than what is considered lean (like 4 or 5 pounds of it)
