So here I go again seems like I've been dieting my whole life. I have reached my goal weight a few times and kept it off a while each time but it always crept back up. Right now I weigh the most I've ever weighed. My main setback now is for each pound I lose I notice a new wrinkle I never saw myself as vain but this kind of throws a wrench in the gears guess I have to somehow find a happy medium between looking older and feeling healthier....

Healthier always wins for me. There's a super cute 84 year old former modern dancer in my yoga class who is my role model. I'm sure she was always beautiful, and she still is. Make sure you're getting enough vitamin D and wearing sun protection. I have to take a supplement. It makes my skin look good.2

Jane Fonda famously said, that after a certain age you have to choose either your face or you *kitten*. Frankly, I choose my *kitten*.4

That wrinkle doesn't affect your joints or bone loss. That wrinkle won't be an issue if you're strong enough to avoid a fall and a broken hip.
You can't avoid aging but you can affect the quality of your life while you do it.3 -

Some days I feel like I'm looking older. But the glorious thing about being of a certain age is that you can give zero kittens about that and do what is best for you. FWIW people have been commenting on how beautiful I look lately. We're our own harshest critics.
Cruise around the success story forums. You'll find people tend to look younger when they're done.1 -
Thanks guys guess I just need to get back in gear. I do get plenty of exercise already. Was on a roll with the journaling and doing great just lost some of my motivation over this and now I'm back at the beginning again but you're all right when it comes down to it health has to trump everything else. Still can't help but be a little discouraged but I'll overcome it.2
