    Successes/struggles this week: I'm excited for this challenge. I gave birth to my son in late January and I am ready for the weight I gained to come off. I've dealt with postpartum depression over the last few months and have been using food as comfort, so I gained back all the weight I had lost directly following his birth. I feel terrible about myself, however, I've just started taking Zoloft and it's been helping me feel much better. I have energy to start an exercise routine and getting off the binging cycle. I hope I have some success over the course of the month.

    Successes/struggles this week: This week started with some difficulty - family was in town and decided to imbibe a time or two as well as eat what was on hand instead of the meals I've been specially preparing for myself. Not going to let this ruin anything though. Just going to pick myself back up and keep it moving. A month ago (April 28th) when I started this journey I wouldn't believe that I would be here today at 248. I won't give up now. I won't give up.

    Successes/struggles this week: I've been on a little bit of a "plateau" since Memorial Day weekend. I know it's because I've been eating just a little too much, and not exercising enough, so I wasn't expecting anything different. I just have to really start to motivate myself again and put some effort back into my workouts.

    Successes/struggles this week: When starting this journey I lost 5.5 pounds, but was off track for 3 weeks due to traveling for work and vacation right after, which contributed to me gaining almost 3 pounds back. A success this week is that I'm back on track and I'm only 1 pound away from where I was.

    Successes/struggles this week: This month is starting out way better for me. My workouts this week weren't great because I wasn't feeling well but I recorded my foods, made healthy choices & stayed close to my daily goal. Next week I will continue the food part but get more workouts in.

    I constantly felt hungry and wanted to snack more often. Now with the start of Ramadan hopefully I can re-shape my eating habbit. As there would be no time for snacking, hopefully I can continue this afterwards.

    I have decreased my step goal down to 5000 per day. So half of my usual. This is also to accommodate for the lack of food/energy during the day due to fasting. But it'll be something to aim for in the night, after the break of fast.

    Successes/struggles this week: Gotta kick my exercising back up into high gear. I probably could do with a little more control over what I'm eating as well. So far I've done pretty well at eating "what I want" but in smaller portions (Eating 1 Oreo instead of 5 for example...) and just lowering my calorie intake. I have substituted a lot of my snacking with veggies and fruit as well, but I'm starting to think that I might have to start trying a little harder to eat better to break through this slow weight loss trend I'm in.
