Weight loss help

Hello,
I would like some good and honest advice.
I anticipate losing approximately 20 pounds in 4 months (Possibly 4 or 5 per month)
I am 5'4 - 155lbs
I would like to be 140 (maybe 135)
I feel like this is a very legit goal but what is your best advice for how many calories and how long should I work out per day? The calorie part stresses me out ..
Do I seem pretty legit with goals?

If you put your goals and stats into MFP, it will give you a calorie goal. If you want to exercise on top of that, you can.
Your goal seems a little ambitious -- you might lose that much at first, but as you get closer to goal, weight loss will probably slow down.0 -
Sounds pretty legit..
I have workout anxiety to start but I just need to push through and start..
I lost 10lbs last year.. gained 5 back..
I've been pretty maintained since (water weight fluctuates a little)
I'll be happy with 15lbs & some inches that's my real "goal"0 -
I think MFP gives really low calorie goals. I would pick something not too low, and in a week see how you have changed. Then adjust accordingly if you need to. I am a similar weight and I lose at that rate, eating around 1450 to 1500 calories.1

Daphnec that sounds wonderful and not as stressful! - Do you eat the calories you exercise off or are you strictly following calories only.0
