I'm 42, and had back fusion surgery in 2014. Then my husband lost his job 3 months post op, so I didn't get any pt.

So, I joined a gym and am thinking of couch to 5k, because right before surgery, I was walking 7 miles a day and lost 35 pounds with no adjustments.

I also don't eat right (one meal a day) but my stomach never growls so I don't even think about it.

Yikes I'm a mess, haha, but I can't wait to start my journey with you all.

Kristi

Hi and welcome. Wow on the 7 miles a day! Did you walk 7 days a week and outside or use a treadmill? Sorry to hear about your back surgery but sounds like you've coped beautifully. One meal a day! I would be thinking about food all the time. Are you still trying to lose weight?

Yes I gained the 30 back after surgery. Ugh. Total I need to lose 80. I was walking the blocks around my house every day. It was perfect squares and I had the first gen up band at the time. Thanks for the welcome!
