This is my first time on the forums but I've had the myfitnesspal app since January of 2015. Lots of good info I've seen so far and a nice crowd. I've been overweight most of my life, though in my 20's I lost about 100lbs. I slowly gained most of that back after my thirties though. I'm 43 now and I've lost 86 pounds since getting the app. Its been a really helpful tool for me so once I found these forums I figured I'd say hello. So....hello.

    Wow Congrats on that loss. This is my 3rd time trying this app. I've never taken full advantage of all the helpful things here and the people, I will this time around though. Was that a big part of what helped you, the people?

    For me it was really just a matter of keeping track of my nutrition. I started finding useful information from different people on workouts and meals. Lots of info out there and I think it's a matter of finding what works best for the individual.
