I don't believe in a cheat meal, or day. The way I approach things is: this is my life. In my life, I can work toward my goals, but I know natural indulgences, changes in schedule, unscheduled dinners out etc. happen. I roll with those, and don't sweat them. But I don't go out of my way to go "off plan". I guess it just seems like I'm cheating on my life.
Good luck finding the approach that works best for you.1 -
It is a day by day situation. Today I had to say no to buffet lunch with a friend since my first two meals were calories rich. I avoid cheat meals or days until I reach my goals, but dont say no to a craving rather enjoy it and make it up in the gym and/or throughout the next few days by reducing the overall calories intake. I am happy with this app as it has taught me a lot about calories and nutrition0
