Eating back calories?

I am at a 1540 cal/day goal right now. I work out almost every day and burn right around 500 calories. Should I eat these back? I usually try to eat some back and leave about 300 calories left over. But after I work out I am usually so hungry that I end up eating most of them back. What I do eat back is 99% of the time fruits, vegetables and maybe something sweet after dinner (usually under 150 cal). Just wondering if I should be eating them back or not

How is your weight loss going? You are supposed to eat them back, but depending on how you calculate your exercise burns they can be overestimated.

I'd keep doing what you're doing.

Continue eating them back if a pound a week is what you're aiming for (and if you have less than 50 pounds to lose, you should be at that rate). If you believe you should be losing quicker, cut dos to eating about 200-250 calories back.

as long as you are losing there is no reason to worry.

This would be because you aren't logging accurately.

MFP is designed to eat them back and still lose weight.

If you're a) losing a pound a week, b) working out hard, and c) feeling hungry afterward, I would say you're doing fine. You're losing weight steadily by doing it, and your body's sending you signals. If you couldn't shake the weight, it might be different, but you're doing great eating them back!

(For what it's worth, nearly everything I've read on here says that MFP is designed for you to eat back exercise calories. I also had a doctor's appointment last week and, although obviously this is only a personal anecdote, she instructed me to eat back mine.)
