Stop starting over, even if you have a "oops shouldn't ate that moment" log and continue. If you can't get a workout in don't worry about try again the following day or put more focus on what and how much you are eating.

Focus on eating nutritious foods at a calorie deficit. If exercise happens, great. Otherwise, just move more.

I'm sorry you're going through this and trying to lose weight at the same time. Maybe you need to ease into it? Like don't try to do a deficit right now, just log what you eat.

I have 2 young children I couldn't find time in the day and at night was to tired as one just won't sleep so I just walk as my exercise, I just walk everywhere that I need to go
Could you try walking to work ect?

Perhaps focus on weighing and logging everything for a week or so without paying attention to whether or not you go over.

I don't think there is any easy way... you just have to do what you can do each day.

Make the best food choices you can. If you go over one day, pay attention to what happened and see if there is a way to deal with that situation better next time. For example, if you get called away to help with family and didn't get to eat what you planned, think about which takeaway would fit your calories best or whether there is something portable (fruit, muesli bar) that would keep you going until you can eat better.

If it's hard to fit in exercise, then try to build in small amounts a few times a day - can you do 15 mins after you wake up and in the evenings? Maybe workout videos - there are heaps of freebies on line.

In other words, don't treat this as all or nothing, don't have a rigid plan that you pass or fail. Just make the best food choices you can each day and try to fit in exercise when you can.
