What are you taking now? Caffeine preference? Beta alanine sensitivity? Pump product or more energy product?

If you want caffeine, BPI and global formulas has a pretty good kick of caffeine. BPIsports also has really good flavors. The global formulas has a good amount of caffeine and a lot of pump inducing ingredients I like.

Global formulas also makes a stim free pump product I really enjoy since I'm trying to stay off the caffeine. The pumps are crazyyyy. Has arginine and citrulinne malate that make it pretty crazy, along with other ingredients to help.

Not a pre workout per se... but Nose Tork has fueled me through more PRs than any magic powder.

I like the ON Gold Standard Pre‑Workout has a bit of creatine built-in which is nice.

    5g Creatine Monohydrate, 2g Beta Alanine, 200mg Caffeine & 4g L-ArginineAKD.
Buy them in bulk powder form and mix your own. It will save you hundreds. Note if using Caffeine powder be sure to measure the amount accurately.

With regard to CM I only include it as it's convenient to take in with a pre-workout.

I go traditional.. Half of an almond butter and banana sandwich gives me the energy boost I need to get through it.

I've looked at bunches of them and settled on one that's fairly inexpensive at the local Wal-Mart. It might not be the best but it has Caffeine, Beta-Alanine, Beta-Arginine, and Creatine just like most of the more expensive blends you can find. It's $20 a can and lasts me a couple weeks. The same amount of some of the more expensive ones like C4 last me half as long. I use it more to wake up in the morning than anything, I drink it about 5:30am and by 6:00am I am ready to work out. As far as workout performance it does help a little but not much more than plain old coffee and creatine which is also an option when I'm out. It's called Pre-Workout Explosion and is made by Six Star. Save the money if you're going to buy some and try it out.
