74 pounds lost is great!! Keeping it off is hard, but you can do it. Realizing you've gained a few lbs back means you're monitoring yourself and you can get back on track! Good luck to you, and be proud of your 74 lb loss..that is amazing!0

I think 74 lbs in a year's time is fabulous! Slow weight loss is healthy! The additional 5 lbs could be a number of things. Time of month, water weight, too much sodium, etc. Don't give up....keep going, you'll keep dropping. Maybe add in a longer exercise routine or push harder during the one's you're doing. You should be proud of yourself!0

You have lost 74 lbs that is nothing to be ashamed of. This is a slow process, and as you get closer to your goal your weight loss will slow up. It is happening to me because I am getting close to my goal weight. If you have "gained 5 lbs" it very easily could be water weight. Have you recently changed a workout routine or eaten too much sodium? Alot of things can cause your weight to go up and down. Be proud of what you have accomplished, like I said 74 lbs is nothing to be ashamed of. It takes alot of hard work and dedication to get any kind of weight off.0

Sounds like you are doing an incredible job! I've been working with a trainer and working out 3-5 times a week for the past 7 weeks and have only lost 7pounds. I was really discouraged until she told me that I was right on track and losing it slowly will keep it off. Don't make your 5 pounds a big deal, you can lose them again. You'll thank yourself if you stick to your plan!0

Don't give up!! You have came a long way and are just at a plateau! It will break soon and the weight will start coming off again! God Bless!0

Stick with it! You have made such amazing progress.
Maybe its time to change things up! Try new foods, kick up your workouts, if your not working out maybe its time to start. Don't give up on you!!!0 -
It's still more than a lb lost each week - a nice, steady rate of weight loss that's sustainable in the long term. Stay positive and be proud of your achievement!0

And some of that could be water weight. I know when I finally reach my goal, I'm gonna have to keep logging in my calories so that I don't gain it back. Over the holidays, I stopped counting and I gained 5 lbs in about 3 months. My fitness wasn't any different, it was my eating, like xmas cookies, casseroles and such. If left unchecked, I will gain it back.0

Don't be discouraged. You want it to come off slow. That way it has a better chance of staying off.
74lbs in a year is not all that slow girl. So love you what you have accomplished and keep taking the same steps that led to that kind of weight loss. It will get ya there!0 -
Wow 74lbs is great - keep up the good work! Don't be discouraged - your doing great!0

It's easier than gaining it all back & living with the weight. Trust me, girl! Here's my story: Lost 81 lbs (from 264 lbs - 183 lbs) in about 14 months. Started dating someone, then we had a bad break up, I was depressed the weight wasn't dropping quickly any more so I decided to stop doing my thang! Gained back 42 lbs & went back up to 225 lbs! Stayed there for a while, saw a pic of myself & was like, "Whaaaaaaaat?!?!" Started up that train again, started losing again, I'm down to 181 lbs (so I've dropped 83 lbs total). The weight's coming off slow, I wanna get down to 140 lbs, so I've got 41 lbs left to lose. No matter how hard & slow it is, I WILL NOT go back up! This hard work feels much better than the defeat of being HUGE! It will take time, but I WILL win this battle and I WILL create the body of my dreams no matter how long it takes! Find something you love to do & change it up a little. I get myself a new workout from Beachbody.com every 3 - 6 months & have found JEWELS that bring that FIRE back to me so I can get my gut up & keep on pushing! Dig deep & find the passion, girl! It's there! I PROMISE! It's already YOURS! Once your mind is SET, it's as good as DONE! Now go claim your prize, cuz you've just won a new life!0
