Hello! My name is Gabrielle and I'm looking for some mamas to be friends with. With my first child I gained nearly 100lbs by thinking hey I'm pregnant, I can eat whatever I want! Wrong. So here I am expecting my second, 4 months along and trying to maintain maybe even lose a little. Have already gained about 16, but started my workout routine 5 days ago and am feeling better already.
I'd love to discuss and share workout routines and diet tips for healthy mom's to be!

Hi! I'm not pregnant, but I have been twice :) Don't try to lose weight while you're pregnant. You should be eating about 300 calories over what you would normally eat to maintain. Or, really, talk to a doctor (which I am not) before trying to lose any weight. I think it's awesome, though, that you want to do things differently this time around and be really healthy - go you!!

I'm pregnant with my first child, right at 5 months and gained 10 pounds already. My doctor said because I'm still considered "obese" if I can maintain my weight it would be great, the most I should gain is 11.....I need some guidance on what I can do. Walking outside is out because of the heat, I don't have access to a pool or I would swim....I am going to talk to my mom about borrowing her gazelle until they need it. This is fun...lol By all means, I could use some pregnant friends too.
