I have both in my pantry. Steel cut is a bit healthier, but to me rolled oats swell up more and are more filling. I was doing steel cut for a while, but went back to rolled. In my opinion they are easier to prepare anyway.0

Okay thanks so not much difference0

Satiety tends to be fairly individualized, anyway. So, try one for a while, see how you feel, then try the other for a while, and compare. Either/both are healthy foods, so what have you got to lose (except weight itself, of course
).

Purely a preference....different textures and taste.0

I think they are both equally filling, but I like rolled oats more...they are softer and smoother, and all around more satisfying to me.0

I like both. That said, rolled oats are easier and less messy for me.0
