Grouping foods in an entry that is adjustable??

The only way I've found to group commonly eaten foods is with a recipe. But once the recipe is made, it becomes a single entry, and I've found no way to edit a standard group of foods in a recipe -- as in having broccoli rather than green beans (while the other 5 items are the same).

Is there a work-around for this? Thanks! :)

What I normally do is log the meal and click on Quick Tools > Remember Meal. Then name it whatever you want. Then when you log it again, just delete the entry you don't want and sub in the new one.

    You can edit your recipe.

For example, I have a created recipe in my database called 'ground beef and broccoli'. Every time I cook it, I edit the recipe to adjust the weights of the ingredients I am using or add/delete ingredients. It then re-calculates the nutrition information for you.

You are describing the "meal" feature! In your diary, click quick options -> save meal. Then when you want to log it again, select from the meals list. It adds all the ingredients to your dairy and you can edit the amounts.
