Over use injury

Hi all! This might be a stupid question but eh I'm gonna ask anyway.
I began a c25k running progam about a month ago (i cant really remember how long ago) and soon after that I started having knee pain. I quit running right away but it got pretty bad and at one point couldn't bear weight on that leg. Well after about four weeks of rest I no longer am having pain. I want to start running again but I'm not sure if I should wait longer? Any tips on getting started again after an inury?

Go slow, testing it out a little at a time, to get back to full bore and don't push it.0

Can you walk 5k on it comfortably? I'd try that first and then restart c25k if it feels ok.0

I haven't tried walking yet but yeah I think that'd probably be best.0
